Hayley is an American actor and singer. Her most well-known characters can be Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, a comedy TV show. She is primarily the performer. Music is the first passion she claims; it's something that she started dabbling at when she was nine years old. When she reached 12 years old, her music began to take an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. At 13, she began writing songs. Her debut album in the age of 14. The music has never stopped ever since. Orrantia is a native of America but with Hispanic ancestry. Though she grew up speaking solely English and has never lived in Mexico she is very satisfied with her Hispanic culture. She hopes to protect it by creating Spanish songs, and also studying the Spanish language. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," which she composed in Spanish. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia got selected from the submission of a YouTube video submission and received the judges' four "yes" votes from jury at the time of live auditions held in Seattle, Washington. The first time she was auditioning for soloist, she and three female singers were put in the final auditions of "Hollywood Week". The group was removed from the show during the fifth live week.
