Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She also coaches and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the sole woman ever to win in the CrossFit Games two times. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter and CrossFit participant and media star - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. The other accomplishments she has achieved include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was born in Iceland, Reykjavik along with her parents and siblings. At a very early time, she was an avid sports fan and loved working out. Many medals were awarded to her in school competitions. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir participated in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years of age (as as of 2021). She stands at 5' 7" tall and weighs 67 kilograms. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit Training in California at the age of 2009. She did well on her first competitions and finished in the top 10. While she did not achieve any title She finished in eleventh place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's coaching she won the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. The following year, she participated again with Jami Tikkanen in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performance. She became the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie also won her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. Additionally, in 2014, she won a silver medal as well as in 2021, she was awarded the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. At present, Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her.
