Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. She has been acclaimed for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in a creative environment. She started as a photo assistant after that she moved on to modeling and acting. In her first two films, she was recognized as a winner of her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world notoriety, and the Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. With just three releases she received the title of top female box-office start in the world. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv show The Winds of War. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
